Privacy
This page explains what this personal project (packeer.in), operated from Rewari, Haryana, India, collects when you open it or log in. By using it you agree to this page.
What is collected
- Login details: the User ID you type and your password. Passwords are checked against a securely hashed copy.
- IP address and login attempts: used for security and to limit repeated wrong-password attempts.
- Session cookie: a small cookie that keeps you logged in.
- Server logs: the hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, time of visit).
- Messages you send: for example your name or email if you write to the owner.
Your design data
The projects you create (pallet and crate designs, drawings, BOM, costing) are saved on your own device or in the folder you choose. They are not uploaded to the server. You are responsible for backing up your own files.
Third-party services
Your browser loads some resources directly from other providers, who can see your IP address and browser details: Google Fonts (fonts), cdnjs / jsDelivr (3D graphics library) and the hosting provider (InfinityFree / iFastNet). They have their own privacy policies. No advertising or tracking cookies are used, and personal information is not sold.
Use, sharing and keeping
Information is used only to let you log in, keep the site secure, reply to messages and meet legal duties. It is shared only with service providers that run the site, or where the law requires. Records are kept only as long as needed, and accounts may be deleted at any time.
Your rights and security
To the extent the law gives you these rights, you can ask about, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to the email in Contact. A reply will be given within a reasonable time and within any period the law requires. Reasonable safeguards are used (HTTPS, hashed passwords, login limits), but no online system is completely secure. Keep your login private. This project is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
This page may be updated at any time, and will be updated before the project is ever opened to the public.
Terms
- Personal project: Packeer is for the owner's personal use. It is not sold and has no fees, subscription, plan or licence. Using it gives you no licence, ownership or other right in it. You get only a temporary permission to open it, which can be withdrawn at any time without a reason.
- Accounts: Accounts are created only by the owner. Keep your login private, do not share it, and you are responsible for activity under it. Demo or trial accounts may expire, change or be removed at any time.
- Ownership: The software, code, formulas, design, logo and name belong to the owner. All rights are reserved.
- What you must not do: copy, resell, share or publish the software or your login; reverse engineer it; bypass login, expiry or security limits; use bots or scrapers; overload it; build a competing product from it; or use it for anything unlawful.
- Your designs and outputs: You keep what you create, and you alone are responsible for checking it and for how you use it.
- As is, no support: It is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranty of any kind. It may change, stop or be withdrawn at any time. There is no duty to give support, updates, backups or any minimum period of access.
- Limit of liability: To the fullest extent allowed by law, the owner is not liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data, cargo or goods. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
- Indemnity: You agree to compensate the owner for any claim or loss that arises from your use of it, your outputs, or your breach of these terms or of any law.
- Beyond control: The owner is not responsible for failures caused by hosting, internet, power, cyber-attacks, third-party services or other events beyond reasonable control.
- Law and disputes: These terms are governed by the laws of India. Only the courts at Rewari, Haryana have jurisdiction. If any part is found invalid, the rest remains in force.
- Changes: These terms may be changed at any time by posting here, and will be updated before any public release.
Disclaimer
- Load, safety factor, bending and strength results are calculated from the values you enter, using general formulas. They are estimates, not certified structural engineering, and no design is guaranteed to be safe, strong or fit for any purpose.
- Results depend completely on your inputs. Wrong or unsuitable inputs give wrong results.
- Real timber varies in species, moisture, grain and defects, so actual strength can differ a lot from the calculated figure.
- BOM, nail counts, costing, quotes and container-loading results are approximations. Check prices, wastage, labour and taxes before quoting or ordering.
- This project may contain errors, bugs or unfinished features.
- Before using any design for shipping, export, heavy, fragile or high-value cargo, have it checked and approved by a qualified person and follow all standards, export and import rules, treatment requirements (such as ISPM-15 where applicable) and customer requirements.
- You alone are responsible for the final design, materials, manufacturing, testing, packing and use of any pallet, crate or packaging.
- To the fullest extent allowed by law, the owner is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, cargo loss, rejected or delayed shipment, penalty, claim or cost that arises from using or relying on this project or its outputs.
